**1938 Packard Coupe: A Journey Through Time**
Our 1938 Packard Coupe has been more than just a car; it has been our companion on countless memorable adventures across Rhode Island, New England, and upstate New York. Whether cruising along scenic backroads, enjoying leisurely country lunches, or savoring picnics at our favorite ocean-view spot, every drive has been a source of joy and connection.
Over the years, our Packard has also been a familiar presence at cruise nights and car shows. One standout memory is earning 2nd place at a car show in Lyme, Connecticut, judged by none other than Wayne Carini. That recognition added a special touch to our car show experiences.
In the fall and winter of 2014, the Packard took on a starring role in the film *The Finest Hours,* an adaptation of the true story of a daring Coast Guard rescue during the winter of 1952 off Chatham, Massachusetts. The car was featured in scenes filmed along the Massachusetts coastline south of Boston, culminating with the rescue scenes in Chatham. Being part of the movie’s production added an exciting chapter to our Packard’s history.
Each mile driven and every experience shared in this timeless classic continues to enrich our lives and deepen our appreciation for its storied past.
