1969 Mustang Mach 1 Restoration

Below are photos of the beginning stages of the restoration of a 1 owner 1969 Mustang Mach 1.  I am doing this car for the original owner, Carol.  Unfortunately, the car was in a devastating front end collision in 1990 and has been sitting in Carol's  garage ever since.  Several people tried to get her to junk it, but she knew it could be fixed.  She made several attempts to get the car fixed, but no one wanted the job, due to the collision and rust.  Laferriere Classic Cars is not afraid of rust or collision damage when restoring cars.

The white colored fastback next the red car was bought years ago by Carol as a donor car for the front end.  We will clipping the front of the car.

Front sheet metal removed for inspection.  The car was hit so hard that the left front suspension was ripped out.

The Damaged left front rail removed and is awaiting installation of the rail from donor car.

 Frame rails now on.

Frame rails and Fender Aprons installed.  Ready to prepare for engine installation.

Engine Compartment sealed and painted.   Installation and alignment of sheet metal begun
