1930 Willys Whippet Six Deluxe Roadster Model 98A. It boasts 50 HP and
weighs in at 2678lbs. It has a published top speed of 65mph. 1930 was
the last year of production. The six cylinder Roadster was a limited
production vehicle in 1929-30. This car has been converted to a 12volt
electrical system and contains a hidden electric fuel pump. A high
voltage coil enhances quick starting and produces a smoother running
engine. The entire body is metal. The canvas top is marine grade.
The frame off restoration began in 2000 and was completed in 2007 at a
cost exceeding 70k. The Tan interior is hand sewn leather. A
padded rumble seat compliments the beautiful lines of the car. The
vehicle is completely rust free. The Whippet dog atop the show chrome
radiator cowling was hand crafted by Louis Lejeune, Ltd. Every effort
was expended to restore the car to it's original state.
